Lovely You Card Inspired by Stampin' Up!'s Monthly Bundle Focus

Hi and thank you for stopping by today!  I was getting a bit low on inspiration (my mind is on Christmas projects right now for upcoming Christmas markets!), so I turned to Stampin' Up's new Bundle Focus program for some ideas.  I cased this card from Stampin' Up!, changing the colours up of course!

This card really showcases the use of the punch that comes in this bundle.  Each of the strips on the front of this card are made using the punch, so you can see how changing up the width of your strip gives you different designs on the ends as you punch it out.

I started with a Night of Navy base and die cut a stitched rectangle to place my strips on.  The strips are Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.  The Misty Moonlight strip is embossed using the Greenery Embossing Folder; the Old Olive is left plain; the Crumb Cake is stamped with one of the images from the Lovely You stamp set in Crumb Cake; and the Very Vanilla is stamped in a few of the images from the Lovely You stamp set using Crumb Cake, Night of Navy and Old Olive.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the stamp set Well Said and is die cut using the Stitched Nested Labels dies.  The Happy Birthday is stamped in Night of Navy and the leaf images are stamped in Crumb Cake and Old Olive.

I also stamped the corners of the envelope as well as the inside of the card (there is a layering piece of Very Vanilla on the inside).

To me this card has a more masculine feel because of the colour choices.  You can see how easy it would be to change it to a more feminine look just by changing the colours.  Keeping this same design you can make so many different cards just by changing the colours and the sentiment.

I've included the supplies used in making this project below.  If you click on any of the images you will be able to purchase them from my online store or any current products Stampin' Up! currently offers.  And if you haven't done so yet, check out the Clearance Rack!  There are great retired items up for grabs at super low prices!  Who doesn't love a bargain?!

I really hope that you enjoyed this week's set of projects.  Have a great long weekend!!
