My project for you today is a winter-themed customer thank you card.  For each of my customers that places an order with me in December they will receive the card shown below in the mail.

To create this project, I started with a Whisper White cardstock base.  I then layered a piece of the beautiful Feels Like Frost designer series paper on a layer of Basic Black cardstock.  You will have a hard time cutting this beautiful paper as both sides are stunning - one side for its breathtaking sceneries and the other side for its silver foil accents (I have chosen to use the silver foil accents side for this particular card).  Using the Snow Globe Scenes Dies from the AC pg. 182, I cut out the snowglobe from the layered pieces as I wanted the white card base to be the background for my snowglobe scene.  I cut the trees from the black glimmer paper, the deer from the silver foil, the intricate snowglobe base from the silver foil and the snowglobe base from black cardstock.

To assemble, I adhered the layered designer series paper to the front of my card once I had cut out the snowglobe.  I then adhered the trees to the case of my card, centering them in the middle of my cut-out snowglobe.  I popped up the silver foil deer with dimensionals and added a few rhinestones as stars for the background.  For the base of the snowglobe, I adhered the silver foil to the black cardstock using the fine tip glue pen, but you could also use tombow (multipurpose liquid glue).

The greeting is from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and it is white heat embossed on black and die cut using the Stitched Nested Labels dies.  I added a couple of rhinestones to bling it up a bit and popped up the greeting using dimensionals.

Demonstrator Support Training Blog Hop November 2020

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. For today's project, I created a thank you card using the Snowflake Splendor Suite.  I started with a standard Whisper White card base and then added a layer of Night of Navy to the front as well as the inside of the card.  I then cut a smaller piece of Whisper White cardstock and using the Balmy Blue and Night of Navy Stampin' Blends created a quick background.  I stamped some snowflakes using Night of Navy ink (some are stamped off and some are stamped in full to give it a bit of dimension).  I also stamped a few tiny snowflakes on the bottom of the inside of the card to dress it up a little bit.  I stamped the greeting in Night of Navy ink on a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and then die cut it using the circle in Stitched Shapes (this is a must have die-cut set, especially if you love the stitched edging look like I do!).  I took a piece of the Snowflake Splendor ribbon and folded it back on itself and with a few mini glue dots and the dimensional from the sentiment held it in place on the card.  I then used a few rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to bling it up a little bit.

My Project for Kylie's International Blog Highlights - November 2020

Hello and Welcome!  I am so pleased that you have stopped by today.  This is my second month participating in Kylie's International Blog Highlights.  I am really just trying to get used to blogging and trying to push myself to participate in various challenges so that I get better at all of this techy stuff!

For my project, I chose the Snowflake Wishes Bundle.  With the layer of Magenta Madness underneath the die cut layer using the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper, it really makes the die cut image of the snowflake pop!  I then die cut a few smaller snowflakes out of the Magenta Madness to add a bit more colour.  I think these two colours coordinate so nicely together.  I finished it off with a few adhesive-backed snowflakes for a bit of bling!  I think that the "Thank you snow much" sentiment is such a great greeting for cards, especially this time of year (if you live in Canada anyways where we have already had a few snow-covered days!)

If you like my card, please click here to vote!  Thank you so much and good luck to all of the participants!!

Traditional Christmas Sampler

Hello and Welcome to Saturday's Project!  I finally managed to put together my samplers I've been working on this week and I'm very happy with them and excited to share them with you.  The first one is very much a traditional Christmas one as it boasts the red, green and gold tones.  I've used so many products in this sampler - some current and some retired and too many to name.  I've picked out the main ones and listed them below if you're interested.  I will be doing a sampler class in November so if you're interested in making your own, this one will be one of the projects that you can choose from.  I will offer it in the mail as well, but you will need to purchase your own 12" x 12" cardstock as Canada Post charges a small fortune to ship even a single sheet of 12x12 because of the size of it it is considered a parcel.  Anyways, please watch for upcoming details regarding a sampler class in November.

And this is just a close up of the side images.

The pictures really don't do it justice.  The poinsettias have a soft sparkle to them with wink of stella and the gold foil gives it just enough shine without being overbearing.  I placed it in a black frame and it looks absolutely stunning!  I hope you enjoyed today's project - I certainly enjoyed putting it together.  I love it when a project that has been in your head for weeks finally comes together on paper!!

Poinsettia Place by Stampin' Up! Wine Tags

Hello and Happy Friday!  The pressure is really on now to get prepared for markets as the first big one is only 2 weeks away!  It's exciting, but leaves me little time for anything but preparing projects.  I have been working on 3 different samplers, which I will share with you over the next several days.  The designs are completed, I just need to take the time and glue everything down.  I'm excited to share these with you, but need to secure them first!

I made a few more wine tags for the upcoming markets and I would like your opinion on A) Which colour option do you prefer - the more traditional red and green colours or the blue tones and B)  Do you prefer the dry embossed poinsettia or the poinsettia which is stamped and heat embossed?

The colours used for the above tag are Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede.

The colours used for this tag are Misty Moonlight (one of our new 2020 - 2022 In Colours), Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake and Mossy Meadow.

I hope you have enjoyed today's projects and thank you for stopping by to check them out!  If you need any Stampin' Up! products to make the above projects or one of your own creation, please feel free to visit my online store where you can purchase current Stampin' Up! products.  Also, if you would like a catalogue mailed to you, please contact me and I will pop one in the mail for you!  Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Wine Tags using Snowflake Wishes Bundle

Hello and Welcome!  I have been crafting like crazy these last few days, preparing for many upcoming Christmas markets -  fingers, toes and everything else is crossed that we don't end up in a second lockdown and me with tons of Christmas items filling up my craftroom!  Positive thoughts  - the markets will happen and they are going to be fabulous as everyone is supporting local businesses!!

Today's projects were wine tags.  I love my wine, so making these wine tags is so much fun for me.  No, I wasn't drinking wine while I was making these, but the thought did cross my mind...a few times lol!  My base is 3-1/2" x 8-1/2" and I score at 3".  I punch the circle in the top to slip over the top of the bottle.  If you have a funny-shaped bottle that the circle punch won't be big enough, you can just cut a slit from the edge of the tag to the circle.  I made multiple tags today, but I am showcasing the Blackberry Bliss one as it uses the Christmas Means More stamp set as well as the die from the Snowflake Wishes Bundle.  The snowflake is die cut using 3 of the snowflake dies from this bundle as well.

For these wine tags I did use a retired stamp set as I loved the messages and I am selling these at markets, so I do use retired product from time to time, especially when it comes to greetings or sentiment stamp sets as sometimes good ones are hard to come by.

I have the shopping links below if you are interested in purchasing the Snowflake Wishes Bundle or any other current Stampin' Up! products.  If you click on any of the images below you will be redirected to my online store.
